Campaigns & automations

Reach out at scale with outbound campaigns, and let automations handle the follow-up when calls and messages come in.

Campaigns (outbound batch calls)

A campaign calls a list of contacts with one of your agents. Create one from Campaigns using the four-step wizard:

  1. 1

    Campaign details

Name the campaign and pick the voice Agent and the From phone number to call from.

  2. 2

    Add contacts

Upload a CSV (a phone column is required; name is optional) or enter contacts manually, one at a time or by pasting a list.

  3. 3

    Schedule

Start now or later, and set pacing: how many calls run at once (max concurrent), how many retries, and the delay between retries.

  4. 4

    Review & launch

    Confirm everything, then launch.

On the campaign's detail page you can Start, Pause, Resume, or Cancel it, watch progress (called vs. total), and open any contact to see its transcript and activity. Contacts are grouped by status: All, Pending, Calling, Completed, Failed.

Test with a small list first

Run a handful of your own numbers before a full batch to confirm the agent, greeting, and pacing behave the way you expect.

Automations

Automations are event-driven workflows: when something happens, if a condition matches, do an action. Start from a template or build your own, and toggle each automation on or off.

Triggers

  • Call Not Answered (voicemail / no pickup)
  • Call Busy
  • Call Failed (technical error)
  • Call Completed
  • SMS Received

Conditions

Narrow when an automation runs by matching on fields like Call Duration, Call Successful, User Sentiment, From Number, SMS Body, Agent, or Error Code — using operators such as equals, does not equal, contains, starts with, less than, and greater than.

Actions

ActionUse it to
Wait / DelayPause before the next action (e.g. wait 10 minutes, then retry).
Retry CallCall the contact again.
Send SMSText the contact — a follow-up or missed-call message.
Run AgentKick off an agent to handle the next step.
Send WebhookNotify your own systems that something happened.

Example: never miss a missed call

Trigger on Call Not AnsweredWait 2 minutes → Send SMS "Sorry we missed you! How can we help?" → optionally Retry Call later.
